Took me 3 bakeries that would do this b/c item was torn when I received it and one bakery even told me that she had not ever seen one shipped without the cardboard for security (there was no cardboard backing). Was torn & delivered in just bubble envelope. Also the red color is not as vibrant as in pic ,,, more of a red/orange.
